Relays, Timer, Switches and Pushbuttons

Relays, Timer & Switches

Relays / Timers
Relays have been the traditional building blocks of control since the 1950s. Still in wide use for simple control or power conversion, styles include electro-mechanical general or special purpose relays such as high power or hazardous location styles, as well as solid-state relays.

Limit Switches

Limit switches are one of the most common presence sensing devices used in industrial controls. Activated when an object makes physical contact with the actuator, they provide an electric or pneumatic signal. Choose limit switch type based on environmental factors and available space, then choose actuator style based on the mechanical setup of the application.

Precision Limit Switches

Limit switches are popular for presence sensing in industrial controls. Metrol miniature limit switches offer incredible precision with repeatability down to 0.5 microns. With a service life of up to three million cycles, these precision switches are perfect for robotic and machine tool applications. Their small sizes (down to 4mm barrel) accommodate very tight mounting spaces.

Pushbuttons / Switches / Indicators

Pilot devices are an integral part of most automated processes, from simple pushbuttons and indicating lights, to selector switches, foot switches, and visual/audible signal devices. A wide selection of 22mm and 30mm panel-mount devices is available; hazardous location control stations meet environmental listings; signal devices offer a variety of mounting options.

Our industrial control products are usually about 50% of the list price of our competitors.

These push buttons, momentary switches, emergency stop buttons, and LED indicator lights are no different. After all, we can't sell you a $69.00 CLICK micro PLC and then expect you to pay almost that much for a momentary push button switch, selector switch or LED indicator light.

Killark control stations are designed to contain and extinguish explosions. The cast aluminum housing and bolts can withstand explosion pressures. The contact surface between top and bottom is wide to allow for combustion gases to cool down, pass through, and release pressure without igniting any explosive environment. Available in factory Sealed (FXCS series) and Unsealed (XCS series) hazardous location control station versions.
